The race to create green technology is getting hotter by the day. It is the new path where all car manufacturers, gas regulator, want to go for their survival. Most of the car manufacturers have a hybrid or green technology car in their portfolio. The German car giant Volkswagen has pitched into the arena too. Volkswagen has developed a new green technology called the BlueMotion technology which reduces emissions of carbon di oxide and nitrogen di oxide. Bluemotion harmoniously combines, gas regulator, all equipments in a manner that, gas regulator, includes start/stop system, regenerative braking, electric drive and Hybrid systems. The BlueMotion technology has been installed in five of its fastest selling products. 2010 Touareg Hybrid The 2010 Touareg Hybrid is the first hybrid SUV that has a 3.5 to towing capacity. The Large SUV is equipped, gas regulator, with a combination of V6 TSI Technology and the electric motor. While the massive, gas regulator, supercharged V6 engine delivers a 332 bhp and the electric motors deliver 50 bhp power. Interesting, gas regulator, thing about this SUV is that it can drive on energy solely derived from the, gas regulator, electric while driving under speed of 50 km/h. As most vehicle owners driving within this speed in city limits, the hybrid automatically cuts, gas regulator, down on toxic fumes. The V6 engine is brought into picture only when the car accelerates to speed above 50km/h. The Touareg Hybrid is the vehicle of the future. Passat Bluemotion 2 Passat model, gas regulator, in Europe gets a BlueMotion 2 option fitted to a 108 bhp 2.0 litre turbocharged, gas regulator, diesel engine. The start/stop system in the technology cuts off petrol flow when the car is in stop mode and revives it to life as soon as the ignition is turned on. As per the manufacturer the start/stop system increases fuel efficiency by 25km/l. It also lower emission levels to just 128g/km of carbon particulates. But driving this car is fun as it can ride 1,400 kms on a full tank. The Bluemotion technology complies with the next generation of Euro V emission norms, which comes into effect from 2012. The technology also has several advantages like the lower darg, longer low gear ratios and efficient filtering of diesel particulates. Passat TDI The diesel powered Passat already complies to Euro VI regulations, which become, gas regulator, effective only form 2014. The Passat Blue TDI is fitted to 142 bhp diesel engine with SCR catalytic convertor with Adblue serve that helps decrease toxic nitrogen oxide output to 80g/km. Passat TSI Ecofuel The Eecofuel partially runs on natural gas. It is compatible with the turbocharged petrol engine. The emission levels are as low as 120g/km and can go from 0-100 in 9.7 seconds. This vehicle can achieve a maximum psed of 201 km/h and uses only, gas regulator, 4.4 kg per 100 km of natural gas. This model is currently available in some parts of Europe. Polo BlueMotion The new Polo Bluemotion has already gone in Europe. This technology could arrive in India with the new Polo, by the end of this year. The green Polo gets a 1.4 litre diesel engine gets only 0.3 drag which helps improve its performance. The Bluemotion 1 technology delivers 99g/km emission while the second version of it give 104 g/km. Volkswagen has designed it to be simplistic and easy to understand.
